Temporary COVID-19 mitigation rules at Lake Amador

Lake Amador is open! We have been diligently keeping contact with Amador County Health officials about taking extra safety measures to ensure the safety of our customers during this time.  We are continually changing policies as new precautions arise, and will keep everyone updated of future changes. Please practice social distancing. As of now the current facility changes are as follows:

  1. CAMPING IS BY RESERVATION ONLY! (LIMITED TENT CAMPING)
  2. 10 PEOPLE AND 2 CARS MAX PER CAMPSITE!
  3. GENERAL STORE IS OPEN BUT BY REQUEST ONLY AS TO STAY WITHIN 50% CAPACITY.
  4. ENFORCED CHECK OUT IS AT 12PM

 

Camping Rules & Regulations

  1. Gate entrance is locked at night. Check clubhouse for hours. Exit is open 24hrs one way only.
  2. Quiet hours 10pm – 8am
  3. All visitors and vehicles must register upon arrival.
  4. Drive slowly- Speed limit is 15 MPH. Dust is a problem! Stay on roads, no off road driving allowed.
  5. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. No pets allowed in Pond Area! No pets left unattended. Clean up after pets. No incessant barking allowed.
  6. Swimming is allowed in the Lake and Swim Pond. Minors must be supervised. No lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk.
  7. General – No profanity, No ATV’s or OHV’s, No firearms, No woodcutting, No hunting, No fireworks, No water sports (including skiing, tubing & jet skis)
  8. No portable bathrooms allowed.
  9. No fish cleaning or dish washing in restrooms.
    10. No tents allowed in full hook-up RV Park.
  10. Campsites must be kept neat and clean at all times.

Violation of any of these rules and regulations are grounds for eviction without refund.
