At Lake Amador we offer a paradise catered to Disc Golfers. Here you will find two of the most incredible courses in California, the best DG pro shop around, and a large campground with showers to facilitate single party or large events.
We also offer extras like night rounds by reservation with LED lighting systems, and full course reservations for clubs and organizations that want a private facility to hold their events.
Amador South
Amador South is a 18 hole disc golf course offers some of the most challenging terrain in Northern California. We are always updating and improving this course, just recently we added many new pin positions plus and extra 9 holes with the closing of the swim pond to make it a full 27 through the off-season months.
Amador North
Amador North is the “Big Brother” of the South Course and features much longer shots and completely different terrain. 18 holes (so far) and a layout up to par 61 total, there is a nice mix of par 3’s and 4’s including one that measures nearly 1000′. Most of the course overlooks the lake with many holes playing around it ever over it! If you are looking to open up your arm and go on an adventure this course is for you!
Pro Shop
Our pro shop in the clubhouse, PURSU Disc Sports has expanded and is full of disc selections including Innova, Discraft, Latitude 64, Westside, Dynamic, Gateway, MVP, Legacy, and Prodigy plus a wide variety of bags, clothing and accessories. We offer incredible deals to AMADOR Bag Tag holders like $3 off discs and $1 beer specials, so make sure to get your club Bag Tag the next time you visit. The local club “The Amador Chain Anglers” holds weekly Random Doubles on Wednesday at 3pm and Monthly Singles every 4th Sunday starting at 9am. $5 per person buy-in.
