Wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all that participated in our annual Lake Amador Trout Derby this year. Out of all the tagged fish that were caught we had around 40 of those lucky anglers who caught them join us for the final drawing. Tammy Simonich, Alonzo, Ray Fort, Marquey Marquey, Tom Jackson, Don Mosier, Ty Ray, Michael Burstein, David Frisk, Rick Poole, and Todd Ray were all winners and took home various prizes like fishing poles, tackleboxes, and tackle. The two big… winners of the day, Pete Ruiz and Mario Rebagliati both took home $500 each which I would say made all those fishing trips that much better! I hear that for next years derby we will be adding some extra cash drawings at the end not only will there be two $500 winners, but FIVE $100 drawings as well!!! I hope everyone had a great time, and we hope to see ya’ll here for next years derby that will start in November 2015.
